Spend a hands-on afternoon exploring the fundamentals of wood carving with local artist Greg Willis.
Drawing on years of experience working with native timbers, Greg will guide participants through the basics of tool safety, grain reading, and simple relief carving techniques — no prior experience necessary.
Each participant will leave with their own small carved piece, along with the confidence to keep exploring the craft at home. All tools and materials are supplied, though you’re welcome to bring your own carving knife if you have one you love working with.
Places are limited to ensure plenty of one-on-one guidance, so early booking is recommended.
