Glenorchy City Council is calling for expressions of interest from emerging curators to take part in our 2027 Emerging Curators Program, offering mentorship and a paid curatorial placement culminating in a group exhibition at the Glenorchy Community Gallery.
This program is aimed at curators in the early stages of their career who are looking to build practical experience working directly with artists, venues, and exhibition logistics. Successful applicants will be paired with an established mentor curator for the duration of the program.
Before submitting an application, please review our Program Handbook, which outlines eligibility criteria, the mentorship structure, and curator fees. Entries close midnight Dec 31st, 2026.
