Digital media artist Robin Petterd invites visitors to enter a quiet, interactive space to encounter a vivid network of interactive branches and leaves. As viewers move through the space, the artwork responds, shifting to mirror small gestures, pauses and changes in balance – representing the behaviour and energy of a tree.
This exhibition also represents the artist’s experience of living with dystonia, a neurological movement disorder. The interaction between the viewer and the artwork reflects on adaptation, instability and draws attention to the way our bodies are constantly in motion.
Entry to the galleries is free.
